Welcome to Our Office!At the first appointment, Dr. Nuckles will do a preliminary orthodontic examination. She will talk with you about any orthodontic problems and explain something about possible treatment options. It is important that she knows your concerns and answers any questions you might have. If there are problems which require treatment, she will suggest diagnostic records such as study models, jaw x-rays and facial photographs. If treatment seems indicated, but the best time for treatment is some time in the future, she may recommend a period of observation. Dr. Nuckles was born and raised in Los Angeles. She received her dental degree from UCLA and her advanced education in orthodontics at UCSF. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, as well as the American and California Dental Associations. She has been on the faculty of the UCLA School of Dentistry teaching orthodontics for over 15 years. She is a Premier Provider for the Invisalign appliance. She welcomes both adults and children into her practice. She has been practicing in Westwood since 1984. The office is located in the Westwood Medical Plaza Building on Wilshire Boulevard between Westwood Boulevard and Gayley Avenue. Parking is available in the building for a fee (enter on Gayley) or 2 hours free parking at the Broxton Avenue lot in Westwood Village (view map). Also, there is no charge for meters on the street before 8:00 A.M. In our office, orthodontic treatment is more than straight teeth. We combine
the goals and concerns that each patient brings to us with our objective
of treatment excellence. We want orthodontic treatment to be a positive
experience for everyone concerned. Please plan to arrive ten (10) minutes
before your appointment. Contact our office immediately if you need to change
